Shmooze With Esquire

Ok so last night was the Esquire magazine Women We Love party for Hillary Flowers, Francis Mercier, and Jeff Krauss.
As you can probably imagine, I spent the entire night running around in my 5 inch stilettos like a hyper child trying to meet as many well dressed men as i possibly could. Mostly there were either older guys in jeans and sport shirts with blazers, or younger guys in Armani shirts, NOT tucked into their dark washed and embroidered designer denim.

But there were a few noteworthy gallants:

His jacket fits very nicely, I wasnt sure what the fabric was but it felt like light wool or textured cotton. I love the little details like the skull tie and the pocket silk.
I tried So many times to get pictures of these guys, My camera was misbehaving. But you get the idea, I love the turtle neck under the sweater and the check jacket. Also, take note of the bow tie and scarf and the black and gray suit, that I kind of missed in the picture. And you know what I always say about personal style. and the man in the leather and velvet definitley has it. You know what hes all about before you talk to him. His name is Magicus by the way. You can find him at http://www.myspace.com/magicus4real. These men were bursting with style and taste.

This guy was also with the dashing group of gentlemen above, but I thought he needed his own picture. the red sweater caught my eye but the scarf drew me in. I dont think too many men can work a look like this with so many colors and patterns going on, but he wins the fashionable-coordination lottery with this one.

Remember what I said a few posts back, when I mentioned my animosity for bows and colorful scarfs on men? I TAKE IT BACK! The mix and match 3pc., shirt tucked in, AND hair combed? This bold intrepid makes my generation proud. And on top of everything that makes this man a winner, he is also a very talented writer. Check out his article on Lady GaGa in this months Esquire.

These delightful dandies would all get an A+ in the classroom of my life...
The rest of the party... Maybe a C.
What do you think?
